User Agreement

Terms of Service

Subscriber guidelines, service terms, and network usage policies.

Effective: January 2024 Applies to: Cable TV & Broadband Users
Official Terms
1. Acceptance of Terms

By applying for, subscribing to, or using digital cable television, high-speed fiber broadband, Set-Top Box (STB) decoders, or optical network terminals (ONT) provided by Cable TVS, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should discontinue service and notify our support desk.

2. Cable TV Services & Channel Tariffs
  • TRAI New Tariff Order (NTO) Compliance: All channel packs, Network Capacity Fees (NCF), broadcaster bouquets, and A-la-carte selections comply strictly with statutory telecommunication authorities.
  • Channel Composition: Broadcasters occasionally revise channel frequencies or bouquets. While we endeavor to maintain uninterrupted availability, channel additions or removals by broadcasters are governed by national distribution guidelines.
  • Equipment Care: The Set-Top Box and Viewing Card (VC) remain property of the network unless purchased outright. Subscribers are responsible for maintaining hardware in good working condition.
3. Broadband Internet & Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
  • High-Speed Transmission: Broadband speeds indicated in subscription plans denote maximum downstream and upstream capabilities up to our local node/gateway. Speed may vary depending on wireless router placement, device capacity, and server load.
  • Fair Usage Policy (FUP): To ensure optimal bandwidth and zero network congestion for all neighborhood subscribers, unlimited plans operate under standard commercial FUP thresholds. Upon crossing high-tier FUP caps, reduced post-FUP speeds may apply until the next monthly billing cycle.
  • Lawful Usage: Subscribers agree not to utilize internet lines for unauthorized commercial redistribution, cyberattacks, illegal file sharing, spamming, or hosting prohibited servers.
4. Subscription Renewals & Invoicing

Services operate on prepaid or monthly billing cycles. Invoices are generated electronically and sent via SMS / WhatsApp / Email. Subscribers are required to renew their plan prior to or on the expiration date to prevent automatic network deactivation. Re-activation charges may apply if lines remain dormant for prolonged periods.

5. Maintenance, Outages & Force Majeure

Scheduled network upgrades and maintenance are performed during off-peak hours whenever feasible. Cable TVS shall not be held liable for disruptions resulting from external fiber cuts by municipal construction, power grid failures, heavy storms, lightning, natural disasters, or upstream satellite signal downtime. Our technicians prioritize fault restoration within standard SLA timelines.

6. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately without prior liability in cases of non-payment, tampering with Set-Top Box decoders or optical fiber lines, abusive conduct toward technical field staff, or breach of telecommunication laws.
